In May 1889, the renowned Vincent van Gogh voluntarily admitted himself into a Saint-Rémy asylum following a period of personal turmoil. During his stay, he found solace in painting and crafted nearly 130 masterpieces. One of his remarkable creations from this time is "Irises," inspired by the asylum's garden and the captivating beauty of Japanese woodblock prints.
