Fine Wind, Clear Morning (Gaifu Kaisei), 1832

Fine Wind, Clear Morning (also known as South Wind, Clear Sky) is one of the most famous woodblock prints by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849). Created around 1830–1832 as part of his celebrated series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, the work captures Mount Fuji in brilliant red tones, illuminated by the morning sun under a clear blue sky.

Our archival pigment prints are produced with wide-gamut archival inks on 100% cotton, acid-free fine art paper, then expertly framed in elegant black wood moulding.
